Welcome to MoCo ReConnect!

Thanks for taking the time to explore the programs and services we provide.  The partners working at MoCo ReConnect have years of experience conducting outreach and engagement of youth and young adults. They started working in partnership under MoCo ReConnect in November of 2019.  By creating this partnership we are able to offer a continuum of services and case management to support young adults to obtain their high school diploma or GED; and provide job readiness training through classwork, certifications, and internships.

The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented challenge for all of us. Helping youth thrive in light of so much uncertainty is a priority at MoCo ReConnect. Unfortunately, we know it has only increased the rate of disconnection for youth in Montgomery County Public Schools. It is important that we provide a connection and support for these students and the schools they attend. MoCo ReConnect partners work to create a safe and supportive space where all youth and young adults can succeed.   If you are, or know of, a youth/young adult who is struggling to stay in school or has stopped attending school please contact us via the contact information tab to get started on a program that best fits the needs of students and their families.

We will be updating our website with information, videos, and pictures, so check back often. This blog will provide staff updates on our programs and services, it will also provide updates written by our program participants and our Youth Action Board.
